Located in Platinum Park within the coveted KLCC district, Sushi RYU (meaning "Dragon" in Japanese) offers Michelin-level sushi and sashimi in a stylish venue at a more reasonable price point. RYU's Chef Kiichi Okabe brings with him over two decades of culinary experience, with his most recent stint at a 2-star Michelin Japanese restaurant. With attention to details from the Japanese binding on their hand-pressed menus, to the hinoki wood chef's counter where all the sashimi is prepared, RYU aims to elevate the omakase experience in Kuala Lumpur.
Ensconced in warmth and cosiness, RYU aims to embody the ambience of a sushiya in Tokyo. Featuring an 11-seater sushi counter, banquette seat tables and two private dining rooms with their own separate entrances. RYU provides a comfortable and unobtrusive dining and experience. We approached each part with all this in mind, creating a sophisticated, functional kitchen encapsulating Japanese fine dining.
